Microsoft Word Shortcuts - Part 2

This is the second part of the series, MS Word Shortcuts.

Here is a list of 10 keyboard shortcuts that you could use while using Microsoft Word.(In no particular order)

  1. Shift + Rt arrow = Extends the selection to the right one character
  2. Alt + Shift + C = Closes the active window pane (if you are in Normal View and have, for example, the Footnote pane open)
  3. Shift + Left arrow = Extends the selection to the left one character
  4. Ctrl +Shift+C = Copies the formatting of the selection
  5. Alt + Ctrl + S = Splits the active window horizontally and then adjusts the split
  6. Ctrl + Shift + D = Double underlines the selection (toggle)
  7. Alt R, G = Groups the selected drawing objects
  8. Alt R, I = Sets up a grid for aligning drawing objects
  9. Alt R, U = Ungroups the selected group of drawing objects
  10. Ctrl+C = Copies the selection and puts it on the Clipboard
