Do you use more than one GMail account for chatting on GTalk? Do you keep switching between accounts, for the core reason that you feel helpless that you cannot login into 2 different GMail account simultaneously?
Here’s a quick tweak, which will allow you to login into two different GTalk accounts simultaneously on the same PC.
- Open My Computer, and go under “C:\Program Files\Google\Google Talk” or where ever you have installed GTalk.
- Right click on “googletalk.exe”, and click on “Send to-> Desktop(Create Shortcut)
- You will now see a Shortcut icon on your desktop. Right click on the shortcut icon, and click Properties.
- The existing path is “C:\Program Files\Google\Google Talk\googletalk.exe“, simply append “/nomutex” and click OK
Fire Away!! You can now login to multiple GMail accounts!!
