Login to Multiple GTalk Accounts

Gmail GTalkDo you use more than one GMail account for chatting on GTalk? Do you keep switching between accounts, for the core reason that you feel helpless that you cannot login into 2 different GMail account simultaneously?

Here’s a quick tweak, which will allow you to login into two different GTalk accounts simultaneously on the same PC.

  • Open My Computer, and go under “C:\Program Files\Google\Google Talk” or where ever you have installed GTalk.
  • Right click on “googletalk.exe”, and click on “Send to-> Desktop(Create Shortcut)
  • You will now see a Shortcut icon on your desktop. Right click on the shortcut icon, and click Properties.

  • The existing path is “C:\Program Files\Google\Google Talk\googletalk.exe“, simply append “/nomutex” and click OK

Fire Away!! You can now login to multiple GMail accounts!!
