Okay, so I’ve been using TataSky for about a year now, and NOT once have I had to call up the helpline for them to fix up any issue, unlike earlier, when I was with DishTV and had to call them up every week to fix up some issue or the other.
Just recently, my super saver annual pack with TataSky expired, and I had to recharge my account. Obviously I had the option of calling up the helpline and recharging my account with a Credit card or Debit card. I could also login to their website and recharge my account using my cards, but I wanted to pay by cash.
I had been receiving messages lately from one of their authorized agents, which had their phone number too – so I just called up the number and asked him the best way to recharge my account. It was the last day, and my account was due to expire at midnight.
Now, the authorized agent only asked me my account number, and confirmed my name. he then asked me what time can his person come over to collect the cash. He mentioned that they cover the entire mumbai city and no matter which suburb I lived, he would come that very evening and recharge my account.
Now, thats what I call simplicity. Tatasky is the clear winner in the current DTH lot available.
