How many times has it happened that you go to a restaurant, find it full to its capacity, that the captain doesn’t have time to come up and hand over the menu to you, leave alone taking your order!! Honestly, it has happened quite a few times with me…
How cool would it be if you didn’t need the captain to come over and take your order??
Imagine you having a small fixed palmtop on your table, which lists out the entire menu, and gives you the flexibility of ordering your favorite dish/drink right off your table without you waiting for the captain to come over.
Has anyone seen something like this anywhere?

a couple of places here in sydney…
infact, just 2 weeks ago had gone to this lovely place overlooking Bondi beach, and they had the same settings – however, it took forever for them to come and even take the order, so much for wifi :-\

Exactly – So its better if you have the palmtop straight onto your table, and order away

I read somewhere that you can order Starbucks coffee over your iPhone, not sure though the Mac World runs more on rumors than on actual stuff
