So you’ve got your train booked for Kodaikanal from Mumbai via Nagarcoil express. Now you need to book your tickets for the return journey. The train that you’re looking for is Mumbai Express (6340), which starts at Nagarcoil in Tamil Nadu and goes right upto Mumbai.

So you’re planning to go to Kodaikanal from Mumbai. Lets say you have 2 options, either reach there by flight, or take the train (which is cheaper, and takes very long). If you’re on a budget I’d suggest you take the train, as the flight could turn out to be very expensive if not booked early.
