So either you’re applying for a new passport, or your passport has expired and you want to renew your passport!
My passport expired recently and it was a breeze applying for a new passport. I could have gone through the entire process myself, but I chose to go through an authorized agent, who filled in my application and did all the paperwork for me.

While google offers a free client that you can download on your cell phone to view your GMail, I prefer using the native email client provided by Nokia. This also means I don’t get the threaded view, and each conversation/email is tracked as a new email. If you prefer the conversations clubbed together, you can download the email client from Google.
Find below the instruction on setting up your GMail or Google Apps account on your native client.

For the last couple of days, my Ctrl + Enter hotkey wasnt working in Internet Explorer (IE), and I cant be using Firefox (FF) because it takes up all my resources, and my PC becomes really slow.
Let me tell you that I am a huge fan of the Ctrl + Enter hotkey, without which I feel very uncomfortable. You need to type the domain you wish to visit in the address bar, eg: google, and hit Ctrl + Enter. IE will automatically make it http://www.google.com

On recently changing my webhost to ‘HostMonster’, I found that my blog, powered by WordPress, doesnt send out the email the way I want it to.
Devesh had subscribed to one of my posts, and he received an email from me with the ID username@host#.hostmonster.com, when ideally it should have been sent by my email id.
The hostmonster forums have already discussed this problem, and the solution they mention on the website is
This is because our servers require you (or your script) to use a properly formatted, valid From: header in your email. If the From: header is not formatted correctly, empty or invalid our system will change the from address to be @.hostmonster.com. To stop this, you must change the script you are using to correctly use a valid From header.
Examples of headers that should work would be:
From: user@domain.com
From:
From: “name”
Examples of headers that will NOT work:
From: “user@domain.com”
From: user @ domain.com

I recently moved my site from SharkSpace (had free space on Devesh‘s reseller account) to HostMonster.
I had a 200MB account, with 2GB bandwidth on Sharksace, but have now moved to unlimited space with unlimited bandwidth (Yayy!!)
I was very concerned about moving my WordPress powered blog from SharkSpace to HostMonster, but the whole process was a breeze.
Just a quick down on the steps to be followed while moving wordpress from one server to another.
Note: My domain name was the same, and I installed WordPress in the same directory as my earlier host.

Which one of us doesn’t want to be successful in life?
Ever wondered how some people are so successful, while the others, no matter how hard they try, are not even close. I wouldn’t say following these simple tips will make you successful, but it surely will change your life
- Don’t talk negatively about people behind their backs. If you gossip, people won’t confide in you. Mind your own business.
- Try to work for someone who’ll challenge your powers. You’ll learn more in a year than 4 years of college.
- Successful bosses have good communication skills. They learn from people, including their employees.
- Work in such a way that makes your boss look good. It’s not flattery.
- On downsizing, the first to go are those with few friends. Bosses prefer competent people whom they respect.
- Dress for the job you want, not the one you have. Let your dress reflect professionalism.
- Workout to get in good physical shape. Unless exceptionally skilled, the unhealthy are at a comparative disadvantage.
- Personal integrity is crucial. Tell nothing but the truth. Bosses can forgive mistakes but if you lie, you’re gone.
- Be on time. Try to arrive few minutes early. It saves you from stress. You’ll be much relaxed & work better
- Strive your best to keep a deadline. If you cannot meet it, then apologize & ask for an extension
- If some people are unhappy with you, it’s their problem. But always strive to give your best. Don’t take things personally.
- If you must correct someone, don’t get personal about it. Do it never in front of others.
- Spend some time alone everyday. What’s the mission of my life? What do I want to be? And how to go about it.
- As you move along Plan A of your career, maintain a Plan B as well — an alternative course to rely
- Always remember that the secret of success is passion. Always think big. Spread love & joy.
