How many times has it happened that you go to a restaurant, find it full to its capacity, that the captain doesn’t have time to come up and hand over the menu to you, leave alone taking your order!! Honestly, it has happened quite a few times with me…

How cool would it be if you didn’t need the captain to come over and take your order??

Imagine you having a small fixed palmtop on your table, which lists out the entire menu, and gives you the flexibility of ordering your favorite dish/drink right off your table without you waiting for the captain to come over.

I’ve heard of a couple of places, where the captain doesn’t carry a pen/paper and writes your order, but instead taps a few fingers onto his palmtop and the order is requested at the kitchen via Wi-Fi.

Has anyone seen something like this anywhere?
